road construction and rehabilitation and they are at the verge of concluding

Seratto Ventures Limited Business Operations
are concentrated in Road Construction and Rehabilitation, General Contracting
and Construction Management. The Company is experienced in all types of
engineering works especially civil, building and structural engineering. They
have considerable expertise in the construction of general civil and building
engineering projects such as Roads, Drainages, Infrastructural and supply
services etc.
The company is divided into departments and
units though the organizational structure is in three parts. They are Executive
Management, Civil Engineering, Building and other Construction Departments.

PROFILE
Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer
Engr. Olorunfemi Olayinka Shittu holds the
esteemed position of Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer. He studied Civil
Engineering and graduated from University of Lagos. He further obtained his M.Sc.
Construction Engineering and Management in June 1973 from The Ohio State
University, United States of America. In 1980, he also obtained postgraduate
diploma in Highway & Traffic Engineering from the same University. He has worked
for his entire life (32 years) in the Aviation Industry with specific reference
to the development, construction, maintenance and management of airports with
particular specialization in airfield pavements and roads. He rose to become the
MD/CEO of FAAN and retired in May 2006.
Director
Mrs. Adetokunbo Shittu is one of the
Directors of the company. She holds Diploma in Business Administration from
Bliss College, Ohio, in United States. She also obtained Diploma in Special
Education for the Handicapped. She taught for several years in Wesley School for
the deaf at Surulere, before retiring into business.

Site Engineer
Engr. Kunle Williams is the company’s site
engineer. He holds H.N.D. Civil Engineering, University of Lagos. He has worked
for 5 years as an Engineer with the Lagos State Government in the Ministry of
Works and Infrastructures and later retired from Public Service and joined the
company. He has supervised several road projects within the nooks and crannies
of the state as site engineer.
Land Surveyor/Concrete Supervisor
Mr. Isaac Adeniyi is the company’s land
surveyor/concrete supervisor. He holds diploma from Surveying Institute in Jos.
He has gained enormous work experience from construction giants such as JBN Plc,
Strabag and others such as Poats Engineering etc. He is considered as a great
asset to the company because of his invaluable work experience from the
aforementioned companies.

The company is a major contractor specialized
in road rehabilitation and construction. They are one of the leading local
construction companies in Lagos. Their major clients are Lagos State Government
and heavy civil engineering companies in Lagos such as Strabag, RCC, JDP etc.
The yearly allocation of government
expenditure on road construction cannot be over emphasized in view of the
massive contribution of good road network (intra and inter states) to the
economic growth of the country. The turnover resulting from construction
activities in the country also runs into billions of naira every year. As a
developing nation, construction of roads and other civil infrastructures is a
continuous activity in towns and cities because the country currently depends
more on this mode of transport for movement of persons, goods, etc. than the
other modes.
